Our Students
We work with talented and empathetic individuals of all genders who want to connect to the world in a bigger way. Most of our students are 18-26 year-old. We purposely keep our student body small so our experienced faculty can build close relationships with each student, allowing us to provide individualized experiences while still maintaining the integrity and consistency of what makes us Echo Springs.
We welcome students who are interested in building relationships, ready to try new things, and willing to work toward their goals. Many of our students have a history of emotional, educational, and behavioral challenges. They need support navigating and mitigating their anxiety, depression, social difficulties and/or executive functioning issues.
Who is not a good fit?
Safety is our number one priority. In order to ensure the wellbeing of each student, Echo Springs cannot accept the placement of individuals whose needs exceed the scope and ability of our program. This includes individuals who:
- have a history of unprovoked physical violence toward peers and/or authority figures
- have a conviction of sexual assault or predation
- are currently suicidal
- experience psychosis unrelated to bipolar, major depressive episode, or drug induced
- are homicidal
- are in need of detox or placement in a Substance Abuse Recovery Program
